Learn how to add a camera to your MyVTech Cams app

Select your camera model.


Follow the instruction shown on screen, then tap Next.

Make sure your mobile device is connected to the Wi-Fi network that your home viewer has connected to when adding the camera.

Select the camera (VTECH_931_XXXX) from the device list. "XXXX" is found at the bottom of the camera.

Follow the instruction shown on screen, then tap Next.

Select the Wi-Fi network to which your phone has connected and so the camera will connect.

Tap Next after entering the password of the selected Wi-Fi network.

Pop-up message may be shown to remind users who has set a security key for the selected camera.
Tap "Enter" to continue.

Wait for the system to search the camera automatically.

Type in the security key you have set for the camera with your home viewer. 
You can click Show Security Key to make the security key visible.

Create a security key for your camera.

Enter a security key for the camera. Repeat entering the security key to confirm, and then tap Next.

Type in the security key you have set for the camera with your parent unit.
You can click "Show password" to make the password visible.
Wait for the system to add the camera automatically. When the adding process completes, the screen displays the new camera in the camera list.
