Events are recorded videos or logs triggered by motion detection. Videos can be recorded continuously by setting the recording mode to Continuous recording (See Set motion detection and Set local recording sections). You need to install a micro SD card in your camera in order to record videos continuously. If you have not purchased a cloud recording plan, your motion detected videos will be saved to the micro SD card. See Insert micro SD card in the Installation guide.

Prior to inserting or ejecting the micro SD card, the camera must be powered off. To power off, unplug the camera from the power supply.

On the split screen, tap

of a paired camera to go to its event log.

If you have purchased the cloud storage plan and added the camera to your cloud storage plan in the app, all motion detected videos will be saved to your cloud storage. You can only view the motion detected videos stored in your cloud storage with your mobile device.

If you wish to store your motion detected videos locally to your micro SD card installed in your camera, remove the camera from your cloud storage plan. See Remove camera from your plan.
